TO REACH THE DAWN VIDEO OFFER
On the first anniversary of the imprisonment of Rev Damanik in Central Sulawesi (September 11), Cry Indonesia Media has released a special 12 minute presentation featuring his present situation.
The 12 minute VCD/Video produced by Cry Indonesia Media includes a brief background to Rev Damanik's case, a video music clip and a special greeting from Rev Damanik to those who have supported him.
The music video clip features, 'To Reach the Dawn' sung by Rev Damanik's 13 year old daughter, Ananda. The words were written by Rev Damanik whilst in prison and are subtitled for English speaking audiences. The words and images will be a powerful tool to communicate not only the injustice regarding the conviction of Rev Damanik, but to advocate for the plight of all in Indonesia who suffer persecution and hardship. The concluding 5 minute personal greeting from Rev Damanik is a moving insight into this wonderful man and is his way of saying thankyou for your prayers and support.
September 11 will rightly be remembered in history for the time terrorists took the lives of 3000 innocent people in the United States. But the release of this special film comes with our prayer that the world might also remember this one man, his wife Atika, daughter Ananda, and the many thousands who have suffered so much in Indonesia over the last three years.
For single orders there is NO CHARGE for the film and postage BUT we do ask that you consider a donation to assist us with the expenses. Not only would we like to recover our costs but we would like to use surplus to funds to assist further in our advocacy for Rev Damanik. His legal team have recently lodged an appeal with the Supreme Court in Jakarta.
